Three internal specimens (internal, corona and surface PD) can be activated individually or simultaneously for a more complete analysis. An internal high frequency noise generator can be added (ON/OFF) to simulate disturbances as present in the field for more realistic test, as well as to highlight filtering potentials using TECHIMP’s T/F map. TECHIMP’s PD Simulator has an integrated HFCT sensor which can be connected to TECHIMP’s portable PD Analyzer AQUILA or any other PD instrument, for partial discharge measurement and analysis. Synchronization of the signal is automatically provided.
